- Registration process for Shri Amarnath Yatra 2011 Starts from 10th May 2011 for both Baltal and Pahalgam Routes through 149 Bank Branches situated in the Country.

- Yatris registration for Amaranth Yatra 2011 can be done from 3 banks viz JK Bank(121 Branches),YES Bank(24 Branches) and 4 District Cooperative Banks.The List of Branches of all these Banks can be checked from this Link of Amaranth yatra Website
- Registration will be done on First Come First Serve Basis.
- The Registration Counters at the Designated Branches of the JK Bank (121), YES Bank (24) and the District Cooperative Banks (4) in the State of Bihar shall remain open from 3 PM to 6 PM on all working week days and 1 PM to 4 PM on all working Saturdays during the period of Registration, upto 10th August, 2011.
- Online Registration for Amarnath yatra 2011 Is made more interactive this year.It was clarified that the Yatra Permit generated through on-line internet based system will no longer be treated as provisional. Consequently, it will not require to be got validated at the Registration Counters at Jammu or Srinagar, as was required to be done during Yatra 2010
- Yatris can register Online through JK Bank website with the payment of only Rs15 Per Yatri.Online facility is particularly helpful for those devotees who could not reach Designated Bank branches
- Yatra Permit generated through online Registration is mandatory and Yatris will be allowed for yatra from Base camps only if they are in possession of Yatra permit for Amarnath yatra 2011
- Helicopter facility is also provided to yatris on each of the two routes viz. Baltal-Panjtarni–Baltal and Pahalgam–Panjtarni-Pahalgam
